To create a whitening liquid, slice the lemon in half and remove the seeds. Using the manual juicer, juice the lemon until all juice is extracted from it. If you don’t have a juicer, hold the lemon over a large bowl and squeeze it as hard as you can, wringing every little bit of juice from it.

Wash your face clean and pat dry. Apply lemon juice to a clean face or to the area you’d like to lighten. If it stings, rinse it off immediately. It may be too harsh for your skin.

Aloe Vera as skin lightening agent

Aloe Vera can alleviate hyperpigmentisation and restore your skin original colour. Hyperpigmentisation is one of the main causes of uneven skin tone.

Also the cooling effect of aloe Vera helps regenerate new cells and rebuilds damaged tissue, which is important for healthy skin. This simple remedy using aloe Vera can lightened dark spot and improve skin complexion.

There are mainly two ways to do it; you can either digest it (I mean, drink it) or apply it on your hyperpigmented area. While the first way has many advantages, it also has some serious side effects

The latter way is the one I prefer and would suggest that you try, too. The application of aloe vera juice or an aloe vera product on your pigmented areas is a good practice if you want to get a fair skin tone.

Cut the outer layer of the aleo vera leaf. Squeeze out the thick jelly substance, apply the gel thoroughly on your skin. Leave for about 30 minutes. Then wash it off with water.
